Spring Is In Bloom In The Toddler Room!

Though signs of spring are not very evident when we look outside, spring is blooming in the toddler play room. Children are enjoying learning about rainbows, and are practicing writing the letter “R”.

The children’s imaginations are active and they talk about animals and farms. We all sat together at craft time and experimented with cotton wool and glue to try to make our own sheep. Once we figured that out, the kids learnt the “Old MacDonald had a farm” song and had lots of fun making loud animal sounds!

These types of activities are visual and sensory and they help develop children’s skills of creation, identification and association.

It is great fun being a toddler at the Tawa Montessori Day Care!!
