Earth Day!

To celebrate Earth Day (April 22), staff read the book “The EARTH Book” by Todd Parr to the preschoolers. Children enjoyed the story and came up with some good ideas about recycling and taking care of Mother Earth.
We noticed that after reading the book, our friends are careful that they are using both sides of the coloring paper and are reminding each other not to be wasteful.
The Tawa gang also learnt about the Earth by looking at the globe and learning about the land and oceans that make up our world.
To emphasize the learning, the children also planted seeds that they are going to help grow.
Good learning and we know these lessons will stay with them forever!
